The Supreme Court has decided to transfer four cases related to the Unnao incident from the Uttar Pradesh jurisprudence to Delhi. The CBI has been summoned who will be required to provide all the details of case and the developments that have happened in the recent past. The move has been done keeping in mind the involvement of BJP MLA Kuldeep Singh Sengar to ensure that there are no biases in making a just judgement. A letter was written to the CJI by the victim who claimed that she and her family were receiving threats from Sengar. A probe is being conducted into the delay of the letter reaching the CJI’s office and the letter will be looked into today.
