Supreme Court orders Unnao victim and lawyer to be shifted to Delhi
The Supreme Court ordered the Unnao rape victim to be shifted to AIIMS in Delhi from Lucknow. She will be airlifted and transported to AIIMS. The victim’s lawyer is also going to be shifted to AIIMS. The King George Medical University Hospital in Lucknow where the victim and the lawyer are presently admitted has said that there has been significant improvement in the victim’s health while her lawyer is still in a deep coma. Kuldeep Singh Sengar, the main accused in the case said that he has been framed due to a political conspiracy. He also said that he prayed for their recovery. Kuldeep Singh Sengar was brought to Delhi for a hearing after which he has been shifted to Tihar Jail from UP Jail.
