Sushma Swaraj answers why ‘Chowkidar’ on Twitter
Foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj who is known for her proneness in replies and actions to messages on Twitter was asked why she added ‘Chowkidar’ to her Twitter handle. She defended her action by stating that she was the ‘Chowkidar’ (watchman) of affairs within and outside the country. Ms Swaraj tweeted the news about an Indian and his wife being stabbed by an immigrant near Munich, Germany and offered her condolences. She has instructed the Indian Mission in Germany to care for the couple’s two children.
