Tactical Skills depicted in AFINDEX-19 at Aundh

The Africa-India Joint Field Training Exercise (AFINDEX-19) witnessed the Validation and Closing Ceremony today.  The training was being held at the Aundh Military Station where 17 African nations and the Indian Army are a part of the exercise. The training has been conducted in four phases and Chief of Army Staff General Bipin Rawat was the guest on Wednesday. The training involved tactical skills aimed at the protection of civilians, neutralization of Improvised Explosive Devices (IED’s) among others. The training began on March 18 and ended on March 27.
