In a controversy series of tweets on April 16, Dr. Angkita Dutta, the head of the Indian Youth Congress’s (IYC) Assam branch, accused the IYC’s national leader, Srinivas BV, of gender-based discrimination and mental harassment. She is the daughter of Anjan Dutta, who previously served as a minister in Assam’s Tarun Gogoi government and led the state unit of the party.
