In remarkable candid comments, the chairman of the UP Shia Waqf board has said that Muslims who oppose the Ram Janmabhoomi temple should go to Pakistan or Bangladesh or join ISIS, and fundamentalist clerics are trying to destroy the country and they should migrate to Pak. This is to promote Lord Rama’s life and the Ramayana, and the religious circuits of – Ramayana Circuit, Krishna Circuit and Buddhist Circuit, and the center has sanctioned funds for the same. The land to be used is free from any issues. Now secular politicians and individuals are objecting – with of course no basis. Should one not construct this museum on land which is free of any issues?

UP Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav fired UP’s Minister of State Ompal Nehra because he appealed to help build rebuild a Ram temple in Ayodhya and in Mathura. One reason for this is to build bridges between communities. A question for all: if the reverse had happened such as example say Asam Khan another UP minister asking Hindus or Sikhs to build a masjid, would they have been sacked? Very unlikely for sure.

ICHR President says walking through Ayodhya feels like Ramayana times. It is not myth but concrete experience for me.
