His real name is Mohammad Naved and he had aliases such as Kasim Khan and also Usman Khan. Naved during the investigation confessed that he was part of the Lashkar-e-Tayiba, the same outfit which carried out the attacks at Gurdaspur last week. During today’s (Monday) ongoing anti-terrorist operations in Gurdaspur, Punjab, some news and current affairs TV channels carried live telecast of these operations without restricting themselves to periodic briefing. This greatly risks the lives of concerned Security Personnel and compromises the effectiveness of these operations. Government ordered the Media to follow the rules for this. This unfortunately happened during the 2008 Mumbai terror attacks.
