Court Ordered To Remove Structures Erected To Offer Prayers In Public…

In a brave but good judgement, the Madras (Chennai) High Court observed that, “Everybody has got the right to conduct prayer as per law in the places of worship or in ones home, but not in the public places which causes immense nuisance to the public“. The court was referring to public places such as a railway yard, public footpaths, public grounds and others being used without proper permission to erect unauthorized structures for prayer.
