In another Indian foreign policy win, Pakistan has been put on the global terror finance watch list. However after heavy push back from its supporting countries – Saudi Arabia and the GCC, China and Turkey, this action was delayed to start in June. The significance of this move is several – it means that officially Pakistan either support or is involved in terrorism activities and as a result funds flow in to and out of Pakistan will be heavily scrutinized by banks and their respective countries. Borrowing funds from overseas will be both difficult and expensive and there are other negatives.
NOW EVERY PAKISTANI ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD (which compares itself to India and feels itself to be unlike Afghanistan) WILL FEEL THE BLACK MARK OF THIS ACTION.

By law, property left behind by those who left India for Pakistan or China and took up respective citizenship during partition are treated as enemy property. So far, nearly 9,500 enemy properties have been confirmed with a estimated value of Rs. 1 lakh crore which are to be auctioned by the Indian Government – with the proceeds going to government coffers. The government advises that nearly 9,300 properties were left behind by those became Pakistan citizens and nearly 200 by those who became Chinese citizens. Even though these properties are spread all over India, the biggest chunk are in Uttar Pradesh (4,991) followed by Bengal (2,735) followed by Delhi (487).

Just as what India has been telling the world for many years, the US President said, “The United States has foolishly given Pakistan more than 33 billion dollars (translates to nearly Rs. 215,000 crores) in aid over the last 15 years, and they have given us nothing but lies & deceit, thinking of our leaders as fools.” MOST INDIANS WOULD SAY… SO TRUE!!!
Some nationalists in India, who are most of the time at the receiving end from mainstream media then said, “Dear RahulG, when will you see Pak “drama” instead of targeting Indian army. Are you rushing Aiyers to hug & console Pak over the snub?” Our Foreign Minister has totally ruled out any possibility any India-Pakistan cricket matches, pointing the 1,000+ border violations Pakistan each year, and the list of issues only keeps growing.
Will Pakistan change for the better? Your guess is as good as any?

Our security forces operating in Jammu & Kashmir made a public hit list of high profile terrorists being targeted. Most on the hit list have been eliminated… we can well imagine the well deserved pressure those terrorists would be under once their names appeared on the list. Our security forces have been given freedom and have used much creativity in going after their targets as well as protecting themselves, but still have had many martyrs sadly. This year so far alone, the success rate has been high with more than 150 of the 250+ terrorists in J&K have been eliminated, and the chase is on for the others.
Along with much more aggressive border policing and retaliation against Pakistan, crackdown on the funding to the terror network, the crackdown has been soooooooo intense that many say now must be THE WORST TIME TO BE A TERRORIST OR TERROR NETWORK IN KASHMIR.
Great job and hoping for your continued success to allow India to win this war for good.

Additional several thousands of kilometers of border with Bangladesh, Nepal, China and in the North-East are also monitored by the BSF, Indian Army and others. The BSF has seen nearly 2,000 of its soldiers martyred and hundreds more injured. This race was to thank and salute the BSF for their service to the nation, to inspire patriotism and support unity efforts.

In a continuing negative trend for Pakistan and Pakistani airlines, a hotel abroad will not rent rooms to Pakistani airline crew as female hotel guests are very uncomfortable with these crew members staying the same hotel.
The reason – harassing and even eve-teasing female guests. Who wouldn’t be scared?

Nothing personal against the thousands and thousands of Rohingya Muslims who are from Myanmar (Burma). Some or many may be good people even though communities where they live suspect them to be involved in jihadi and other anti-national and anti-social activities. With India’s giant population, with so many poor people, we have our hands are more than full. Let us deport the Rohingyas to their home country or another country that can take care of them 🢂 Bangladesh or Pakistan can take them. If the NHRC (the National Human Rights Commission) were to give them protection like it is trying to, then lakhs more may land up in India, it will become a flood.
Doesn’t the NHRC have many problems to deal with?

Israel has been India’s true friend at all times. Israel helped India during the 1965 and 1967 wars with Pakistan, again during the 1999 Kargil war and other critical times also. During most of the India since our independence, Indian politicians were more concerned about pleasing the Arab and Palestinian world and the muslim minority seen as a vote bank, and even supporting almost every anti-Israel UN resolutions. There has always been an ongoing hush-hush dialogue, nothing much said publicly. It is only with this current BJP-NDA Indian government, that the strong Israel-India friendship and strategic partnership has been openly talked about. PM Modi recent blockbuster visit to Israel was historic on so many counts – the biggest being finally, this was the first ever visit by an Indian prime minister to Isreal. ISRAEL HAD BEEN KEPT WAITING FOR 70 YEARS. Shalom Israel!

China is aggressively working with Pakistan on the new silk road – one belt – one road project – a major headache for India. This strategic project would give China access to the Arabian sea – India declined to participate. So now well known Pakistani economists are saying that this massive project will load Pakistan with lots of debt ==> with only limited short-term benefits. China denies it, but Paki Economists are saying Pakistani has become or soon will be a client state of China. This could be a good thing for India.

Former Naval Officer, Kulbhushan Jadav was kidnapped by Pakistani Army from Iran 18 months back and kept in confinement. Pakistan has declined consular access every of the 14 times, a common protocol. In April, Jadav was given the death sentence by a Military Court – all very questionable. Left with no response or choice, India has approached the International Court of Justice to seek proper justice and that Pakistan follow agreed upon international treaty norms and conventions. Hearing will continue which would be a source of great embarrassment for the Pakistani Army. As the charges and evidence is questionable, there is a ray of hope that Jadav would get relief that he is due and is finally released.

How can Kulbhushan Jadhav be an Indian spy working against Pakistan when he was kidnapped from Iran by Pakistan over a year ago? The Naval officer was working at the Chabhahar port, where work has restarted after many years and India is providing assistance. Pakistan’s ridiculous charge that Jadhav was creating unrest in Balochistan and he was orchestrating attacks against minority Shia Hazara community in Quetta. More than 13 times India has asked Pakistan for consular access and has been denied. We all know that Pakistan with a questionable justice system, how can it claim to have given a fair trial – if it is NOT even willing to give India the charge sheet and other paperwork?

USA seems to have suddenly got concerned about tensions and unresolved issues between India and Pakistan, and now wants to jump in and try to negotiate. India promptly snubbed USA as it said it has no role in the bilateral issues and ties between the two countries. What USA has to keep in mind in that whatever issue it has “meddled in” has only got worse with hundreds of thousands of deaths and billions of dollars of destruction. Recent example include the situation in Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, Syria, Ukraine, most of South America and on and on. Indians would rightly agree that the only role for USA is to STOP SUPPLYING WEAPONS TO Pakistan and get them to STOP SUPPORTING TERRORISM over the past decades! What is so hard about that – USA does not even need India’s support!

India biggest flag was hosted on the tallest flag pole hoist at the Indo-Paki border at Atari. This would make our soldiers proud while putting mental pressure on the Pakis. The flag which itself is 110 metres (360 feet) long and 24 metres wide and weights 55,000 kgs, was hosted on the 110 metre tall flag pole.

Dawood Ibrahim is one of India’s most wanted criminals who is in hiding in Karachi, Pakistan under the protection of the Pakistani army. After India’s active diplomatic outreach to the United Arab Emirates (UAE), there are reports that over rupees 15,000 crore of Dawood’s property has been seized in recent weeks. In addition, a Mumbai tribunal has allowed the government to seize two properties in Mumbai. This could be the start of more seizures by the government. Let us wait and watch!

After the appointment of the new Army Chief, leaders of some opposition parties have questioned the Government’s decision as seniority principle was bypassed, which by the way has happened in the past under other governments. One critic who is close to the Congress party even went on to suggest that one person had been bypassed as he belonged to the minority community. Luckily others spoke in favor of the government. The government appointment seems to be based on the current and future threats – the biggest of which is in J&K and the Pakistan border. Lt. General Bipin Rawat was appointment as he has enormous experience as an infantry officer, in counter-terrorism, and along Line of Control. This is the need of hour given the ongoing terror issues in J&K and army deployment in J&K and Line of Control.
