The Railway ministry did a survey of 400+ railway stations in India with feedback from 1.30 lakh passengers. The survey findings are that Gujarat had the cleanest railway stations while those in Bihar are the dirtiest. In this new era, it is gratifying to note that such surveys are being done with active public participation.
