MOTHER TERESA’S ORPHANAGES NOW DON’T WANT TO ALLOW ADOPTIONS?

To encourage and speed up adoptions from orphanages, the Central Govt after much deliberations with the public at large over many months, issued new rules allow couples or singles to adopt children. This was done as a way to help the children and the would be parents at large. The Missionaries of Charity, the name for the Mother Teresa charity, object to the new secular and liberal views which they feel contract their own Christian beliefs. Their beliefs are for them. But what has that got to do with the children – why does this NGO not want to act in the best interests of the children? Are the children being asked to follow rigid christian beliefs even though the vast majority never were Christians?
