Israel told PM Modi that ties with are heavenly – “A MARRIAGE MADE IN HEAVEN BUT WE ARE IMPLEMENTING IT ON EARTH”. Wow! Have we heard of any leader of any country say this to the people and leader of any other country (in this case India). This shows the regard and love of Israel for India. Even though we are so much different in size, we have many similarities, face many similar threats and can gain a lot by working together. Going forward, three cheers to a wonderful strategic partnership between our two countries.

Israel has been India’s true friend at all times. Israel helped India during the 1965 and 1967 wars with Pakistan, again during the 1999 Kargil war and other critical times also. During most of the India since our independence, Indian politicians were more concerned about pleasing the Arab and Palestinian world and the muslim minority seen as a vote bank, and even supporting almost every anti-Israel UN resolutions. There has always been an ongoing hush-hush dialogue, nothing much said publicly. It is only with this current BJP-NDA Indian government, that the strong Israel-India friendship and strategic partnership has been openly talked about. PM Modi recent blockbuster visit to Israel was historic on so many counts – the biggest being finally, this was the first ever visit by an Indian prime minister to Isreal. ISRAEL HAD BEEN KEPT WAITING FOR 70 YEARS. Shalom Israel!

A needless controversy got sparked about Priyanka Chopra’s bare legged meeting with PM Modi. Firstly she was nicely dressed and was wearning a skirt, and naturally with a skirt the legs below the knee is exposed. Madhu Chopra, Priyanka’s mother explained that this was an unscheduled last minute meeting, so Priyanka had to rush to make it. So would this clear the air?

Shri Ram Nath Kovind’s selection to become the next President of India was a tightly kept secret that only a handful knew. So when this was announced it was total surprise for everyone. Over the broad two month search process, many expected names did the rounds, but Shri Kovind’s name was never mentioned. Shri Kovind, from Kanpur in UP, was spotted by the BJP leadership during the run up to the 2014 Loks Sabha elections. He gave up his personal interests to become an MP for party work and to canvas Dalit voters. During the Bihar elections, PM Modi spoke highly of him. So there were some hints but otherwise this decision, while a very good one, came as a total surprise.

Both are successful people and have come up the hard way and continue to work very hard. President Trump has never been in government, while PM Modi has been a social worker, an an elected representative, a Chief Minister (arguably one of the most successful) and now the prime minister – so in public life most times. Both have earned a solid 30+ million plus Twitter followers who adore their respective leaders. Trump has been hasty, too quick to express his opinion, some politically incorrect, on Twitter on almost anything and anyone. PM Modi tweets are about wishes to one and all, policy and achievements. PM is always found sending wishes and greetings to one and all including his opponents. PM is much less visible, and when he is it is about substance. Both are known to get annoyed or possibly angry, but President Trump’s reaction is public and for to see, while PM Modi is more restrained at best, and mostly not even visible. Trump has moved faster – at least one area PM Modi can copy?

In a shocking turn of events – Jihadists, anti-national forces and others seeking a separate Tamil (or Ealam) land have hijacked these protests and taken a front stage. These new protesters can be charged with treason. They are snatching mikes away from students who bravely have led these protests. These groups who actually kill and eat the cow and bull are now pretending to protect the cow, but the real reason is to balkanize and weaken India. On group – the Naam Tamizhar Katchi is asking people to protest the Republic Day celebrations, wear black flags and not salute the national flag. The central government under PM Modi proactively was working on finding an ordinance resolution. Central Minister Nirmala Sitharaman suggested to the state to issue an ordinance which was done and the law will be made permanent. But now these anti-national forces are trying to come together to target PM Modi, the Central and State government. THINGS HAVE GOT TOO SERIOUS. JALLIKATTU IS NOW THE LAW, LET US TAKE SERIOUS ACTION AGAINST THESE ANTI-NATIONAL FORCES.

PM Modi has millions of fans, followers and well wishers, but he also has lots of enemies – both political, jihadi ones, those from neighboring countries. The latest addition is due to the demonetization of high value currency notes and the impending law to prevent benami property. A popular Karnataka astrologer predicts a very serious assassination threat in February of this year. It was noted that he has already faced two threats to his life, one each during his visit to Afghanistan in 2015 when his plane made an emergency landing, and other during his surprise visit to Pakistan on December 25th of 2015. Per this prediction, the latest threat is the most dangerous he could be faced with.

In a shocking anti-corruption announcement, India has scrapped the Rs. 1,000 and Rs. 500 notes. While short-term this will cause inconvenience, this will sweep up lots idle and hidden black money. As PM Modi said, corruption and money laundering are like the “diseases” and “obstacles” to the country’s economic success. This move could bring down inflation, inflation and put a check on money laundering.

After the historic American election with a unexpected landslide win by Donald Trump, India has lots of reasons to cheer as he is better than the losing Hillary Clinton. Trump promised to make India the best friend of the US and has stated that he looks forward to working with PM Modi. Many Indians in the US supported Donald Trump. The Clintons are close to the muslim world as their foundation gets lots of funding from there. One of Hillary Clinton’s closest adviser is a Pakistani-American who continues to maintain ties with Pakistan. “Crooked Hillary” as she is being called, extended the visa ban on PM Modi when he was Chief Minister of Gujarat. The previous Clinton government supported violent anti-India groups in Jammu and Kashmir, and the Khalistan movement, provided billions of dollars of financial-aid and military support to Pakistan.

India, its soldiers, and the families of the martyred soldiers are all very angry with Pakistan and wants immediate action. This is understandable. A counter attack on Pakistan sets a dangerous precedent and could spiral into war with a nuclear armed neighbour. While Indians are debating every action in detail as is our nature, don’t expect this government to make public its thinking on future actions. Some things have already happened: there will not be any joint military exercises in PoK – Pakistan Occupied Kashmir, Russia, with the second strongest military will NOT supply MIG-35 to Pakistan. Several countries are supporting India, the majors but also Saudi Arabia (you read right). In case of a war, Afghanistan has promised to provide a military base for Indian operations. And we can only guess that more is coming. In fact Pakistani strategists have said, that ‘Modi is not for war, but he will make Pakistan Bleed Without Making Noise! We should all remember that our PM is looking for a PERMANENT SOLUTION, not for some temporary win!

After sleeping for decades, India has finally woken up, thanks to PM Modi and this government. As a new foreign strategy, India has raised the atrocities and crime being committed in Balochistan and Pakistan Occupied Kashmir. PM Modi raised these issues at the Red Fort Independence day speech. World leaders from Bangladesh, Afghanistan and several other countries have welcomed this. China is now on defense and their Rupees 30 lac China to Balochistan and Gwadhar port project is in trouble. Ultimately, this could lead to Pakistan crumbling. The Jihadis – what happens to them, why worry? But INDIA’s SECULAR ENGLISH MEDIA IS VERY UNHAPPY with India’s tough stance. YOU HAVE TO WONDER IF THEY LOVE INDIA?

It is true – PM Modi called an Tripura IAS officer at 10pm to request his help. PM Modi apologized to the Tripura IAS officer as he was calling at 10 PM in the night, but said that the matter was serious in Tripura and requested the officer’s help to oversee the highway re-construction from the very next day for the fastest completion, with the further assurance that all resources would be provided by Government of India.. PM described to the officer the alarming situation of national highway NH208, the only link between Tripura and the rest of India had been badly damaged. So what was this officer’s reaction when told that the PM wanted to talk to him – no surprise, “his brain froze for a few seconds and legs started shivering”.

Looks like Arvind Kejriwal, who by the way is the Delhi Chief Minister, will say and/or do almost anything to gain publicity. His latest attack – he says “PM Modi can even have me murdered”. This comes after Ms. Soni, the Aam Aadmi Party activist who committed suicide had said that she was “asked to make compromises” with her body. It is also alleged that “She was told you should stop loving your body so much and compromise and unless you do that you will not rise in the party”. The big question is if the AAP leadership is a party to all these developments?

Judith D’Souza, an Indian NGO worker based on Kabul was captured by militants or terrorists in Kabul 6 weeks ago when returning home after dinner. This was a shock to the family who contacted PM Modi’s office and the Foreign Ministry. The Indian government, Foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj, and our embassy worked tirelessly with the Kabul government and other locals to successfully get Judith released and is now has reached Delhi. The family has expressed their gratitude to the government. When asked about what negotiations went into securing this release, all the government would say we our techniques and back channels, but will not divulge them as we have many Indians in captive who need to be released.
