How can Kulbhushan Jadhav be an Indian spy working against Pakistan when he was kidnapped from Iran by Pakistan over a year ago? The Naval officer was working at the Chabhahar port, where work has restarted after many years and India is providing assistance. Pakistan’s ridiculous charge that Jadhav was creating unrest in Balochistan and he was orchestrating attacks against minority Shia Hazara community in Quetta. More than 13 times India has asked Pakistan for consular access and has been denied. We all know that Pakistan with a questionable justice system, how can it claim to have given a fair trial – if it is NOT even willing to give India the charge sheet and other paperwork?

India is courageously raising awareness in United Nations and other global forums of the extensive human rights violations in both Balochistan and Pakistan Occupied Kashmir, the genocide of local people by the Pakistan army and the total absence of democratic rights. Thousands have been driven out and thousands have disappeared without any trace. Balochistan, which is about 40% the size of Pakistan, actually was to be an independent country. India is not stopping at these actions, but All India Radio will start a Balochi language service and website, and setup powerful transmitters for the broadcasts to reach people in Balochistan, Pakistan and Afghanistan.

After sleeping for decades, India has finally woken up, thanks to PM Modi and this government. As a new foreign strategy, India has raised the atrocities and crime being committed in Balochistan and Pakistan Occupied Kashmir. PM Modi raised these issues at the Red Fort Independence day speech. World leaders from Bangladesh, Afghanistan and several other countries have welcomed this. China is now on defense and their Rupees 30 lac China to Balochistan and Gwadhar port project is in trouble. Ultimately, this could lead to Pakistan crumbling. The Jihadis – what happens to them, why worry? But INDIA’s SECULAR ENGLISH MEDIA IS VERY UNHAPPY with India’s tough stance. YOU HAVE TO WONDER IF THEY LOVE INDIA?

The people of Kalat (or Balochistan) while being Muslims, are socially and culturally very different from Pakistani Muslims who dominated Pakistan ruling elite. In 1947, the Baloch parliament totally rejected a merger with Pakistan, but instead approached India for accession. But – Jawaharlal Nehru, as part of one more strategic failure, mutely stood by while Pakistan invaded Balochistan. Unconfirmed reports indicate that Pakistan commits unimaginable atrocity on the Balochis – killing more than 20,000 tens of people including children each year. Unfortunately, our Indian media has hardly ever exposed or reported on these events. Carving out Balochistan which makes up 40% of Pakistan would be great move for India – like we did to Bangladesh.
