To follow Dharma means to do the right thing regardless of the result. There are many clear cases of massive corruption with adequate evidence of potential wrongdoing. Two examples include the allotment of prime five acres along the Gurugram-Faridabad Highway to the Rajiv Gandhi Charitable Trust (RGCT) in Haryana by the previous Congress government. The trust is headed by Congress president Sonia Gandhi and other family members. The second case is the National Herald case in which corruption of more than 5,000 crores is alleged and there is ample evidence. So why are the NDA governments not taking the case forward? Are we not guided by dharma?

34 year highly educated former teacher, Ms. Urvashi Yadav decided to open a thela (wooden cart) to cook and serve chole-kulche and parantha in Gurgaon/Gurugram. Even though the family is well off with more than middle class assets, she decided on the thela venture to support her family after her husband’s second accident. She now earns nearly Rs. 3,000 each day while working from 8:00am to 4:30pm, which she says is adequate to provide future financial security for their two children, both of whom go to private schools. The stand has been a total hit, she has been featured in news media and Facebook, which in turn has led to an increase in her regular customers and fan following.
