Surveys say majority of Indians feel India is on the right path, things are slowly but surely getting better. People feel the country’s leadership can be trusted even if people do not agree with every action, they work hard and do want to bring about transformative change to lives of all Indians.
So you would ask WHO WOULD WANT TO ASSASSINATE PRIME MINISTER MODI… and the simple answer is many many individuals and organizations:
- Maoists – they wanted to do a Rajiv Gandhi type assassination.
- Pakistan’s ISI and even its defence services.
- Numerous Islamic terrorist or terrorist sympathizer organizations. Several in Kashmir, Kerala and elsewhere both in India and outside.
- Numerous separatist and terror organisations in India.
- Foreign NGOs. They were sending so much money but now government of India is closing monitoring them. Per reports, much was spent in conversions, recruiting and inciting protests and numerous other anti-national activities.
- Some say China and Russia – but this is hard to accept but certainly a possibility.
- Some members of opposition parties.
- Could be even individuals in the ruling party?
- Some Western governments – they may be feeling that India is getting strong and may be hard to control?
- Corrupt politicians, bureaucrats and individuals of the public.
- Many many more…
MULTIPLE ATTEMPTS HAVE ALREADY BEEN MADE ON HIS LIFE. LET US HOPE NO SUCH THING EVER HAPPENS…

Indians know and practice this – we eat lots of daals, beans (rajma), others and much less meat (chicken, lamb, sea food and pork) and much less beef. Yes it is true some tribal and people in the north-east eat beef along with other foods. A recent survey says if American and rest of the world replace eating most Beef with Beans and Daals, this will help in a big reduction in greenhouse gas emission. There are scientific reasons for this about the energy expended to grow feed and the greenhouse gases emitted by the cows and bulls during its growth. This is in addition to getting more nutrition, protein and fewer calories. Surprise surprise – these findings are leading to positive dietary changes in the western countries even if slow, and awareness is spreading. So will those do needless drama and beef protests listen?

Indian are all surprised and soon will breathe a sigh of relief that PIA – the Pakistani International Airline will stop flights between Karachi and Lahore and Mumbai. If you ask, most Indians would have thought NO such commercial airline flights were in operation. There were only twice weekly flights, which was also the only air link between the two countries, and probably the way Pakistani artists came to act in Bollywood films. After these flights stop, the only way to travel would be to go to a third country, make a stopover, and change airlines.

Per reports, for the fifth time, Norwegian Child Welfare authorities have taken possession of kindergarten Indian children from schools without any prior notice to the parents. Others complained to the authorities. The reason for these actions are – talking loudly in the home, scolding ones child, of course beating, and other such behavior by family members. Most Indians would agree that some if not all these actions are common to Indian families. So if one is in Norway or other countries with strict laws on family conduct, parents and family members better comply with those rules.

PM has launched the Accessible India initiative and leading the effort of the Govt of India to remove the barriers in the environment, which will enable the disabled lead an independent life. This is a radical shift from the charity-and-pity model of how Indians view the disabled. India with nearly 26 million disabled people, had a washout for over 50 years when nothing was done. But now the government is discussing and working to make railway stations, trains, public and government buildings and toilet accessible to the disabled on a daily basis – this has never happened before. PM calls the disabled – “DIVYAANG,” or “people equipped with a divine ability.”
