West Bengal has any election – the current panchayat, local body, state or national – news reports point to so much violence. In panchayat elections underway, over 20 people died and several before the start of elections, and hundreds and hundreds of citizens and police injured. Things are so bad that opposition has not allowed to even file nominations and elections were delayed. With each and every passing day it seems to be only getting worse as Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and her Trinamool Congress appear to have mastered the art of poll violence to win elections. The state election also rarely if any files objections.
Without a full analysis, ONE MIGHT EVEN SAY THAT THE EXTENT OF VIOLENCE, DEATHS AND INJURIES JUST IN 1 ELECTION CYCLE EXCEEDS WHAT OTHER STATES AND CITIES GO THROUGH OVER MULTIPLE ELECTION CYCLES OVER MANY MANY YEARS. Think about that…

Shri Anant Kumar Hedge, Union Minister narrowly escaped an assassination attempt per news reports. Per police reports, at 11:30pm a truck driven by one Nasir deliberately tried to hit the minister’s car but both the car and its passengers narrowly escaped as they were at high speed, however the minister’s escort car was hit. It is reported that the driver was not drunk. Shri Hedge is has expressed his views on several topics hails from Karnataka is very popular and has a strong following. State elections are due and people feel the law and order situation has continued to deteriorate under the ruling Congress government.
Numerous murders, violent crimes have been committed on the majority community with justice either denied or delayed on one pretext or the other. The minister feels there could be big nexus to get him and others assassinated.

Karnataka which will hold state elections in the upcoming months is going to see a tough fight between the ruling Congress and the challenger BJP. show lots of trailers and product for which they get paid. With the upcoming elections, both parties are reportedly planning to run political ads in theaters for the first time. Unlike TV and newspapers from which you can turn or walk from, theatre goers will be stuck watching all ads at high volume including these political ads. Mulayam Singh, currently a Samajwadi party Loksabha MP, as chief minister of undivided Uttar Pradesh ordered the police to fire on lacs of karsevaks who were approaching Ayodhya – many were killed on that day. Suddenly, he is feeling sad for that incident, however, no regrets have been expressed. One is left to wonder the real motivation – one could be all the important state elections in UP next year.
