Now there are news reports that even girls from well do and government funded colleges are throwing stones and want to join protesters. Rest of India – “REMEMBER KASHMIR IS AND WILL REMAIN ALWAYS PART OF INDIA” – is left wondering what is wrong with the people of Kashmir. They killed and drove out Hindus and Sikhs in Kashmir – “is that what is menat by Kashmirayat”? Kashmiris care only for Kashmir (read muslims) and no one else. They want and have so far got only a Muslim Chief Minister from Kashmir only. J&K gets 10% of central government funds with only 1% of the population, so each person on average gets 10 times of what citizens else where get, and on and on. However, with so much good and generosity, our Kashmiri friends feel that they are victims, who never hesitate to chant Pakistani flags. The only thing that makes Kashmir and J&K different it is muslim majority, nothing so special about that. If so much generosity does not work, then let us do what Pakistan, China, Middle East and others do their restless minority populations…

An essential element of this article is that people from outside of Jammu and Kashmir cannot be granted citizenship of the state. So they cannot vote in state elections but, if they are citizens of India can vote in national elections. Now it is being reported that nearly 15,000 people of Rohingyas origin from the Myanmar and Bangladesh. In a recent shootout, one of the foreign terrorists was a native of Myanmar, and military officials feel that such settlers could be ticking time bombs. There are other reports of Islamist organisations encouraging Rohingya Muslims to settle in Jammu and Ladakh. If outsiders have been settled in J&K in violation of article 370 and with knowledge of most, then is the Article 370 still valid/ Can we not settle others from Pakistan there?

China seems to be creating problems or obstacles at every opportunity. If things are too quiet, it will embark on border violations, recently it strongly and publicly opposed India’s entry into the NSG (nuclear suppliers group), and it also opposed the UN sanction of Pakistani terrorist groups. This is unfortunate as India gave up its United Nations (arguably foolishly by then prime minister Jawaharlal Nehru) on questionable grounds) in favor of China, gave up Ladakh territory to China and did not condemn or oppose Chinese occupation of Tibet. So, it is now time for India to get aggressive with China at any opportunity. Should we boycott Chinese goods to send them a message?
